Guest Kirsteen
Hey there, Given that the quotas are now gone, does anyone have a ballpark what they were/are for Radiology across the country? Also, are there any plans to increase the number of spots (as happened for a few specialties last year)? Cheers, Kirsteen
Guest juan
71 spots across Canada (but 20 in French Canada)... so 51 for English Canada... dunno how the first iteration IMGs will factor into this... could raise the bar for the rest of us. Kirsteen
Hey again, From that handy Royal Bank book, it looks as though the 2005 quota was 70 spots cross-country. UofT topped the list with 8 positions followed by Laval & Universite de Montreal with 7 each. The lowest number of positions offered was 2 by U. of Ottawa. From what I've heard, the first-round IMGs are going to be offered positions separate from those offered to Canadian grads.
