Marks cutoff

There isn't really a fixed cut-off (as far as I know) consistent with the Ontario schools, where if your GPA is lower than the threshold, your application gets junked immediately.

The official party line is that a 70% is the minimum overall GPA that you need to be accepted, and it follows that theoretically, someone with a 70% could get an interview.

Realistically however, your chances for an interview go up in direct proportion to your marks. If you had an extremely high GPA/MCAT, you can almost guarantee that you will at least get an interview providing you can write a coherent essay, and your referees didn't trash you in your letters.

In our class, we have at least two students who had overall GPAs in the 70's. I think one was around 78% and the other around 76%.
