Guest soulstress
I applied last year and was rejected post-interview. In my application this year, I'm thinking of using the same basic outline for my autobiographical essay but changing a few things here and there. Do you think ADCOM would frown upon this? I don't want it to be a sign of laziness, but I do feel that the essay I wrote last year does a great job in summarizing who I am and why I want to pursue medicine. Any insight? Thanks! Guest dr nomis
That's what I did, and I know other people who applied twice and did the same thing. Just expand on what you've done since you last applied. And perhaps change any spelling errors you may have had when you last submitted your essay... oops...I won't say anything else. I didn't specifically mention in my essay "since I last applied..." but keep in mind they will know you have applied before because you have to fill that out on the first page of your application.
