Lectures vs. PBL at UBC

Hey Everyone,

With good fortune at my side, I have the chance to decide between U of A and UBC. I have a pretty sound understanding of U of A's program, but I need to know more about UBC. My main question is how many hours per week are devoted each towards lecture and PBL? I'm coming out of 4th Queen's University, and I'm thinking that some PBL may be a refreshing change for me (but not to the extent that MacMaster uses).

Any help with this would be wonderful. I'm giving myself until tomorrow (Weds) to decide.

i think i've mentioned it in another post.

Basically PBL is MWF from 8:00 -10:00

U will have at least 5 hours of lecture per week.

THere willl be labs, tutorials, workshops scattered in between.

I personally find PBL more appealing than lectures purely because i tend to fall asleep in class :P
