Guest UBCstu
I heard that EC references are only checked for ppl who have done "well" on the interview. Is this true? Can anyone who applied in previous years please clarify this? Thanks.
Guest Persistent
I would love for that to be true since one of my contacts had indeed been contacted, but unfortunately for me, that is NOT true according to the Admissions people. Last year at the group feedback session I was told that they do random spot checks. You may or may not get one of your verifiers contacted by the Ad.Com. And it doesn't really tell you anything if they did get contacted. They also do non-random checks if an interviewer felt that something needs to be verified (I hope I didn't fall under that category!:\ ) Happy Waiting.
