Guest GundamDX
Hi, Can one expect to have interviews in subsequent tries once he has gotten one? eg. is it rare to have an applicant getting an interview in his first or 2nd try, rejected, then NOT getting an interview next year when he applies, given the fact that his application will most likely remain relatively the same or improve? Thx.
Guest tea
yup. Having an interview one year doesn't guarantee another interview in the next. I guess it all depends on the applicant pool. For example, if the cut off last year was 34 and i made the interview with 34.25. This year, if the applicant pool is somehow "better" and the bar is raised to 34.5. I wouldn't make it to the interview, even though it's the same application. On the other hand, if you cleared last year hurdle with a huge margin, then you shouldn't have a problem with securing an interview spot. btw, does anyone know how many people apply this year? tea
Guest TKP 123
Yes, they treat each year indivually if an applicant apply mutiple-times. Last yr was around 1400+ for 224 spots. It may or may not be the case to see the same number this year.
