Guest Smurfmed
Hi all, Did anyone take Bioc 300 @ UBC and had Maurus, Williams, & MacGillivray? Got any pointers about how to do well on Williams' & MacGillivray's sections? Thanks in advance!
Guest mitchie41
I took biochem 300 last year. All I can say is that MacGillivrey was AWESOME! His tests were easy and he wanted all of us to do well. He's also a pretty entertaining lecturer. He also teaches us in first year med. Williams is a great lecturer and he's really enthusiastic, but his tests were pretty tough compared to the other two instructors. His final had a lot of application, and he expected us to memorize all the reactions including stuructures(TCA, Glycolysis, etc...) when he didn't really test us a whole lot on them. If you wanna do really well on Williams' final, you have to do lots of practice questions from each chapter and really understand what's going on.
