Guest cavity1984
I did not do too well on the first midterm. So I am a bit concerned. If you took this course last term, did the instructor omit the midterm marks if you get higher maker on the final? Thanks!
Guest Adversary
I'm not in med, but I have taken this course and have done horribly on it. If nothing has changed, he will later state that if you did bad on the final, but achieved 80% or above, you will get 80% as a final grade. I also recall he once stated that if you get a certain grade that is very high, he will give you something slightly lower (- 2 to - 4 %) even if you failed the midterm. I know this is true because my mark was derived this way (there was no way I could have gotten this mark with the low score I received on my midterm). However, do realized it's a tough final exam and people actually fail it.
