Guest Dan
This seems logical to me as my research was this year's summer job, but I want to avoid any repetition if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dan
Guest TKP 123
I listed mine as employment history last yr. Save the non-academic entries for volunteer, extracurricular stuff
Guest Persistent
Hi Dan, I was told by the admissions manager that sometimes you need to repeat things from the employment history into the non-academics. My PERSONAL suggestion to you would be to repeat it into your "other experiences" IF you do not have any other research experience to list in that section. Sometimes the person looking at your file won't try to mentally integrate your employment history into the non-academics sections. So if you can make some space it might be wise to put that in again. This way you don't have to rely on them to ensure that you get credit for your research experience as a non-academic one. Hope that helps!
