Method of expressing the involvement time frame

Hello all

 

Lets say I did an activty from January to April, stopped for 4 months, then continue from September to December, if I list it on the application as January to December, is that lying? How else should I present this?

I'll put my vote down for one entry, with the date range of January to December. It sounds as though it was maybe something related to school that didn't run through the summer. If that is the case, perhaps start the one-sentence blurb about the activity with, "During the school year, I..." or "When school is in session, I...".
