Guest walkorbike
Hi, MedRxGuy, I don't know if he's at MUN or not, but I was impressed to read on theglobeandmail.com last week that the WHO's efforts to eradicate polio are headed by a Nfld doctor, Dr. Bruce Aylward. A retired MUN prof made the news last year for his work on vitamin supplements and seniors. He is the patent-holder for one such product. The journal that published his work said later it was unhappy with the data: it is not often that a journal disses its authors like this. Take care, walkorbike Edited to trim down and to add a link about funding at MUN from Canadian Institutes of Health Research: MUN press release: health research success (gotta love the woodchuck model part)
