In province interviews-a few questions

I am wondering about the interview calls for in province applicants. I know some people have received calls who live in Newfoundland and others who have not. I have heard that there is more than one round of calls for newfoundland interviews. Can anyone shed any light on this? When should the calls start, or are they already finished?

I think that maybe they call everyone who lives away first, because travel arrangements have to be made etc..
