Guest ioncannon97
Hi, I just did AAMC #2 and got an unusually high score. Is this test too easy? For people who have written the MCAT already, how did your scaled score on the AAMC # 2 practice test compare with your scaled score on the real thing? Guest V
I think AAMC tests 4 and 5 (6 has supposedly just been released) are best representative of the actual MCAT. That being said, I think you should keep them until about 1 wk prior to the real thing.... I got exactly the same scores on the real thing and these MCATS. I too found #1-3 a lot easier than usual. I think they are good practice, but like I said, 4 and 5 (probably 6 too) are best approximations.
Guest Kirsteen
Hi ioncannon97, I'm with V on this issue. The earlier AAMC iterations definitely seemed to be a lot more straightforward than the later versions. AAMC VI is currently available for purchase through their site, and although I'll be writing it next week, I don't know anyone else who has yet given it a go so I can't comment on its level of difficulty. Does anyone else have an idea? Cheers, Kirsteen
