For those of you that have written the MCAT before, did you find that your practice test scaled scores correlated well with your actual MCAT results?

It depends on the source. My MCAT scores matched well with the Princeton review. But Betz guide had me getting 6 and 7 on the VR section. That was a bit frustrating especially since they gave very little explanation in their answer key.

Funny thing, my MCAT scores matched well with my Princeton Review DIAGNOSTIC test. I didn't take the coure, just read the fat book. This was also a few years ago.

I am taking mcat this august.... my friend has taken it in april. Basically, we felt that aamc III is much easier than IV and V, which are still easier than the actual one according to his experience. But then since the curve become more generous in actual exams, it's won't make much difference to the score.

 

Just be prepared that the questions will be harder
