applicant pools

i was reading through some posts from last year's application cycle and got the impression that of the total number of spots available for the entering class, some are allocated for 2/3 year applicants, some for 4+ year applicants, and some for OOP applicants, with applicants in these divisions only competing against each other.

 

is this correct and/or applicable for this year's application cycle? if so, does anyone know how many spots are allocated to each applicant pool?
