Guest Ollie
Hello, On the admission website it says that to have graduate work considered, your thesis must be defended by June 15. So is that June 15 of the year of application (ie 2 months ago), or of the year of enrollment (ie next June). In the latter case, would I just get a letter from my chair saying that I will have defended by then? Thanks!
Guest fox
It is the year you are going to be entering med school that you need to defend your thesis by. I just got my supervisor to write me a letter saying I had defended AND handed my thesis in and that was sufficient. The earlier you defend, though, the better. I would guess they may change that date because most offers were made before June 15 this year (except waitlist offers). I defended in January so I got the extra points added on before they evaluated the applications in early March.
