Guest sassy101
The U of S offers burseries to those students who agree to work in a rural community after completion of med school. The burseries are for those wanting to enter family med and i believe they are 10000 a year for every year of service you agree to do afterward. Students are eligable to receive the burseries for 2, 3 and 4th year. Does the U of A offer anything like this? Are there many options available to help ease the pain of tuition costs? Thanks in advance
Guest fox
I know the government of Alberta offers some sort of bursaries (I think even for clerkships). I am not exactly sure how they work, but I do know your living expenses, transportation, etc are partially covered, if not fully. Probably someone already in med school knows more.
