Guest Koppertone Posted June 22, 2004 Report Share Posted June 22, 2004 So this may seem like a silly question to some, but what are the differences between the programs between UManitoba and UAlberta? I came to Vancouver tonight to pick up my mail (as Canada post failed to forward it the last month) and I had an acceptance to UofA (luckily got it just in time). I had a $5000 scholarship to Uman for 1st year. However everybody I talk to says UAlberta is well funded and well known. I've done little research on UofA as I wrote it off after not getting in on first round acceptances. Should I spend the extra $6000 ($11000 for next year) to go to UofA which is closer to home (drivable distance) or should I stick with UManitoba which is cheaper?
