Guest UR1FOOLINS
Hi guys, i think i asked this question before the forums got all whacked up. I did school part time, and require a special year to qualify for admission to a few medical schools. Thus, i'm enrolling in a "special year" of undergrad courses at the 300 level and above. OSAP's weird in that it states that students must be enrolled in an accredited program to collect, but it also says that students performing "make up" years for admission into graduate programs are able to collect. Also i remember someone from western telling me that he collected OSAP while registered as a special student for administrative reasons. Does anyone know of anyone that collected OSAP as a special student? Thanks for reading...
Guest hydes79
Hi UR1FOOLINS, I applied for OSAP after I finished my Science degree at UW. I was planning to take just one term (Fall to Winter) to meet the admission requirements for some of Canadian Medical Schools. When I applied to OSAP they asked me to give them a letter to explain why I want to take this extra term. So, I did that, and I ended up getting OSAP. Guest UR1FOOLINS
Is it the final decision of your own school's financial aid office, or is there a centralized OSAP office one can appeal to?
