My flight comes in at 5:30 on Friday and I am going to miss the first half hr or so. Do you think it is worth paying the extra cash and changing my flight for that? Or are you thinking that attending the info session will help you in your interview? That brings up a good point. Do people getting interviewed on Friday have a slight disadvantage over the rest of the interviewees because they'll have had their interviews already? I'm sure there will be plenty of folks around on Friday night (myself included) who would be happy to bring you up to speed on the happenings of the first 30 minutes or so. Additionally, if you don't wish to pay the extra but wish to chance it if flying Air Canada, you could give stand by a go and try to snag an earlier flight.
