Guest tmacgirl
UofT Arts & Science will give me 3 credits for AP exams. The credits are first year Biology,Chemistry and Physics. I however I'm not sure if it is wise to accept these credits or to retake the course. Has anyone AP credit it will be great to know what you have done in this sistuation. Guest Steve MD09
My high school never offered AP or IB credits, but when I started at U of T, I met a bunch of people who had these credits and used them to jump right into second year courses. When it comes to bio, there's nothing you learn in 1st year that is specifically required in 2nd year, so I'd recommend using your AP credit for sure. For chemistry and physics, it depends on how satisfied you are with your level of knowledge, and also how far you plan to go with those subjects.
