hi everyone,

 

i have a desent chance to study in south africa next year in the medicine and surgery baccalareus degree and am wondering if any of u know if i could practise ,directly after graduating, in canada because for me to get a study permit i must get out of the country after finishing studying....

so i just wanted to know what could happen to me if i were to goto S.A....

plz, any replies would be really appreciated. in the decision making phase it could be very dificult at times to get some info like this.

<pagetext>You have a pretty good chance of coming back to Canada to practice. SA medical degrees are recognized in Canada. You may be required to take the Canadian board exam whiles working with a temporary work permit. I know a number of people who did their residencies in SA and did not have much of a problem in practicing here.
