Guest g11g4
Will a 4-year bachelors degree in occupational therapy from a foreign school suffice as far as requirement of pre-meds is concerned? I have 4 years of experience in different clinical settings in U.S. to go with it. Thanks
Guest Ian Wong
You should contact each individual med school as they all have different pre-requisite courses. For example, UBC med school requires a third year level Biochemistry course (full year) that you would be unlikely to encounter in a four year OT program. The other obstacle that you may be facing is whether or not you are a Canadian citizen or hold Canadian residency; many med schools up here will be closed to you unless you are a Canadian citizen. The med school websites can be accessed at: premed101.com/medschools.html Best of luck! Ian UBC, Med
