Guest extrachromasome
Is there a website that shows numbers of different fellowships in internal medicine (including R4 years) in Canadian universities. I have tried various interenal med websites but none of them have very much information. Thanks for this.
Guest borboleta10
Try the R4 Match website at: www.departmentofmedicine....a/R4match/ This year's R3s are just finding out about their fellowship offers this week...must be very stressful! The number of spots in each subspecialty vary from school to school, and from year to year. If a spot in one subspecialty isn't taken, that funding can be shifted to a spot in another subspecialty at the same school--so there is some flexibility in the number of spots per specialty, depending on the demand that particular year. Guest extrachromasome
Thanks very much for that link, that was exactly the type of thing I was looking for.
Guest extrachromasome
I'm surprised that there aren't more general internal R4 spots. There seem to be only 1 or 2 people that decide to do general internal medicine instead of sub-specializing?
