Guest sky100
Hello. I was wondering if there are any discounts out there on car insurance for medical students that you know of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
Guest satsumargirl
Dont' know of any specifically for med students. But you maybe able to get a discount via any alumni plans from where you did your undergrad. I know both Guelph and UWO have programs ...UWOs is better. Guest squishymichy
Hey I went through meloche monnex from TD for insurance as a western grad and my rate is really low compared to the other insurance companies. I think you qualify as alumni of most universities in Canada. Good Luck
Guest Icarus
If you're in Ontario there are auto insurance deals available through the OMA. You can look at their website for details. I am not sure how they compare but you might want to check them out.
Guest UWOMED2005
Yes, most of the provincial medical association will include student members in their discounts. I held my insurance through the OMA for the 4 years of med school (pretty good plan) and then switched to the AMA for residency.
Guest InuvikGirl
Thanks for the OMA tip. I will be saving at least $300 per year now!
