Did anyone else have a stressful interview?

Yeah, that doesn't seem right... the stats in 2003/2004 were 92 offered and accepted, 4 deferred, 71 offer declined... which means they only go about 70 people into their waitlist to fill up the class.... still fairly deep (given the small class size), but it doesn't make for a 50% chance post-interview if they consider about 470 people... more like 33%.

The fact that about another 100 acceptances are offered after the initial 100 doesn't mean that all initial 100 accepted students decided not to come to Queen's

Let's say that hypothetically 50 of the initial 100 acceptances accepted the offer of admission. Then that would mean that Queen's had to make another 100 offers to fill the remaining 50 spots that were not filled. In order to fill the last few spots, many offers have to be made because many of the students on the waitlist have already accepted offers from other universities.

Hi, this is what I heard from one of the first years when I was at Queens. Queens did burn through their entire wait list last year and even accepted 1 person that was initially rejected. That must've been awesome for that guy!
