Interviews and Acceptances after Making Cutoffs

I'm applying as an OOP to Dal and was wondering whether anyone had any information on the importance of numbers (i.e. GPA and MCAT's) for getting an interview/acceptance once an applicant has met the application cutoffs. In other words, do academics still factor largely into an interview decision even after cutoffs are made?

There is not a specific published formula or list of factors used for determining who gets interviews from the OOP group. If I had to hypothesize, I'd say that since anyone who can meet those cut-offs is pretty great academically, academics likely play a smaller role than the other components of the application. Again though...that's a guess.
