Guest s sadry
i recently asked a really close highschool teacher of mine who i keep in touch with if he would be comfortable writing a reference for me...he said he would be honoured to write a stellar reference. i have no doubt he knows me very well - better than any of my other references, and that he would offer a very strong evaluation. i'm only concerned that as a HS teacher he would seem dated....yet i think that he might be important just because he is the best judge of my character. the other references i'm sure of using are a university professor who i've done research with the past two years, and a phsyician who i've shadowed and who has been my family doctor all my life. so what are your opinions...i just thought it may be to my advantage to have a really strong HS reference, as opposed to a weak other one from an activity i'm currently engaged in. also for those of you who have used HS references, did you find/ask them to talk about your involvement/character in HS or focus on what you do university and how that shapes you? i'm curious about that.
