Mitchell
This thread may be a bit out of place in this forum, but it's the closest fit. I'm applying in September as a first year student, mature status. I've been looking for Universities which offer some sort of on-campus residence for married students. From your experience, did your school offer this? If so, please post-- I'd love to know.
UBCGuy
UBC has a whole housing complex for students with families. I know a few people who live in them and though the places aren't to fancy they are safe, close to school, and are reasonably affordable. The residence area is callled Acadia Park and information can be found at: http://www.housing.ubc.ca/acadia/overview.htm Hope this helps!
haiku_guy
U of C also has family units for older students. I would assume that most major universities have such residences. Your best bet would be to call the housing offices at the institutions you are interested in attending. Cheers!
ddawkin
uvic also has extensive family and married housing (we are in it)...apply early, though, and you will need to provide proof of marriage or common-law status (and the presence of children for family housing). good luck to you. dd
