Your Interview at U of T - how did it go? Tips on what to expect?

Recommended Posts

i think it depends on the interview day (weekend/weekday) but on the weekends there are prob around 30 interviewees in the morning and maybe 20 in the afternoon (50 total). the activities were so-so. the presentation was hilarious but its before your interview so youll be there regardless. the only thing after your interview is the tour and lunch if you're in the morning. it wasnt so informative (im from toronto) but it was a good opportunity to ask the med students questions. you can leave anytime after your interview. most people did not stick around.

And they have all your info - sketch, essay, transcripts, etc

The short answer to this question is YES. It's an open style interview, which means the interviewers have acesss to everything that you submitted to UofT Meds. But, I am not sure if they have your MCAT scores!

Of course the majority of students will be from Ontario. Just like all the other provinces have restrictions on the number of out of province students.

UofT does not restrict the number of out-of-province students admitted. But the first set of interviews is mostly local people. OOP get later interviews to allow for travel arrangements.

does that mean that locals who haven't received an interview yet are doomed?
