p_gray
i was wondering if anyone can verify this. is there any truth to it or just one of many myths? -i heard that reference checks from now on are only done for those that they're still considering post-interview --> if none of your references are checked, does that mean they're not interested? wanttobedoc
I thought that reference checks were just a randomized thing. I don't think that everyone who gets accepted necessarily has his or her refs checked.... but I could be wrong.
antisera
I had 2 references checked by email in January. I looked at a thread from last year and a few current students confirmed that they were random, and seemed to start from January up until even early May.
