Specifically, does the parallel match persist into the second round of the match? Does an unmatched spot from the CMG pool become "fair game" for everyone? Kirsteen Posted April 23, 2007 Report Share Posted April 23, 2007 Hi there, This year, the first-round IMG spots did become fair game for Canadian applicants in the second round of CaRMS. I'm not sure about the converse, although in previous years, first-round spots (which were exclusively for Canadian grads) did become available to IMGs, so I'd imagine that this policy persisted this year.
