immernoch
hi, does the weighting formula apply if you took 5 years to do your BSc degree (full course load each year, just a minor in arts) thanks so much!

immernoch
oh thank god. i'm a PhD graduate who had a change of hearts. with the weighting formula I think my GPA will be around 3.8 undergrad (vs 3.2 if I don't drop my worst course each year, my experimental electives) and 3.95 grad. lostintime
Slightly off topic, but I don't want to clog up the accepted/waitlisted/rejected thread. Almost no one with a GPA < 3.9 unless they were grad if you've noticed..SO depressing =(

So obviously those with stronger academics would get in. And also remember that this is a non-representative sub-sample of applicants on this forum.
