pmiron84 Posted May 27, 2007 Report Share Posted May 27, 2007 Hey I read on this forum some interesting mistakes that NOSM does in their emails and in their written material, with dates, and acronyms not spelled right, and stuff... but this is the most hilarious! I got my letter of acceptance on friday (from being waitlisted (rank 4)) and the file had my last name - Sudbury.pdf as a title. This file was my official "acceptance letter"... so it had my name and address, OMSAS number and NOSM number on the top, but the opening line of the letter... "Dear bla bla bla" was in someone else's name! LOL I just thought it was hilarious... I don't really care, honestly, becasue I do the same thing when I mass apply for jobs (send like 25 resumes/letters in a day)... and it's happened to me! it's just human error... but, i thought, you know... THE LETTER THAT CHANGES MY LIFEEEEEE!!!! But, in someone else's name! I can't even FRAME it anymore, it's not 100% valid.... unless I white it out??? hehe just thought some of you might find it funny! P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
