doctorpepper
Hi all, Is the OMSAS GPA = u of t gpa for students applying during their third year? I know that students applying during their third year aren't allowed to drop any courses, but does the admissions committee weight the GPA or simply take an average of the student's first two years. i.e year 1= 3.8 year 2= 3.9 year 3= time of application (gpa not considered) Will the students u of t GPA be (3.8+3.9)/2= 3.85 or [(3.9*2)+ 3.8]/3= 3.87 Thanks in advance,
Kuantum
it's the first way you did it...the only school that officially weights later years more is OttawaU.
daryn
If by U of T GPA you mean the GPA that shows on ROSI, then no, OMSAS GPA is similar to the UofT GPA, only 85-89=3.90.
doctorpepper
Sorry, by u of t GPA I meant the GPA as calculated by the u of t admissions committee for all applicants, not the GPA thats shows up on rosi for u of t students. Thanks for the reply guys, doctorpepper
