DrKovac Posted July 8, 2007 Report Share Posted July 8, 2007 Hi, i'm originally from Canada but after a few failed attempts at getting into med school back home I decided to head to one of the "big" caribbean schools. I really want to do EM back in Canada. Does anyone have any advice on how to make my application for the match stand out. I will be applying for the match in 09 so I still have plenty of time. As of right now I did 2 weeks of shadowing at the UofM emergency program during my 2nd year. I'm planning on doing my EM electives there too. I also heard doing electives in the ICU/CCU and anesthesia are helpful. If anyone else has any advice, i'm looking forward to hearing it! Thanks!
