dr_2020
Dear medical students Is anyone willing to share their successful studying strategies for their subjects. I guess what I am interested is gaining an idea of how some medical students allocate their time per day for studying effectively (especially those visual and kinesthetic learners). Is your hour broken up by: 40 minutes - Reading a topic, making notes and mind maps 10 minutes - Practicing problems, review previous nights work 10 minute - break (drink water, walk for a bit) Thanks! up doc
Read, Read, and Read again! Just kidding, I'm not sure that you will find a solid answer on this one, I have found that every med student is quite unique. One common trait is that most students do away with the breaking every 40 mins. part. Though I know that this is an effective strategy, most of the time it is a 6-7 hr. grind when cramming and 2-4 hr. blocks when not. Thats just my opinion. cheers
