Guest Aidan
Hi guys, I've just finished the first edition of my UofT essay, and it's 1099 words and 7035 characters in length. Does anybody know if this acceptable, of an I in danger of being disqualified for being 99 words over the 1000-word limit? Thanks! Just to let you know a bit about me, I'm a 3rd year Zoology student at UofT. I wrote the MCAT in August, and I'm going crazy writing this application. Guest peachy
I would think that as long as you can paste it into COMPASS it should be okay ... But I'm no expert. You could call OMSAS or U of T if you're really worried! Good luck with the apps
Guest TimmyMax
Hey, The COMPASS template will tell you if you are over- in fact, I think that if you are over, you will get an alert saying such and your essay will be cut off at the 8000th character, regardless of where it might fall. So be sure to save your essay on MS Word or whatever you typed it up on, because you will probably have to go back and cut some of it down later. Best of luck! Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, As long as your UofT essay is less than 8,000 characters, you will be just fine. Cheers, Kirsteen
Guest chiapet921
Hi! And as a friendly reminder, don't forget to include the verifier id #s in your 8000 characters as well... Good luck....!
