patch Posted August 1, 2007 Report Share Posted August 1, 2007 My brother may be moving in to the new Marine Drive residence this fall but he is unsure if he will accept due to the possible disturbances due to construction which will continue for the entire year (he was accepted Friday, and has until Thursday, Aug 2nd to accept or decline). Can anyone who has lived there comment on how bad the noise and other disturbances are from the construction? Important questions: Can you study there during the day? Can you sleep there during the day without a problem? Also, I heard they are opening the bottom half of the second tower for rent while construction continues in the upper half. Actually, he has a bit more time to decide (until tonight i guess). I think he is taking it though. Aren't the studios mixed in with the shared suites anyways?
