spoudaios
How does UBC calculate GPA and is there any conversion table anywhere similar to OMSAS table? Do they use percentages or grades like 80, 90, etc or 4.33; 4.0 etc?
sfuguy
Attached is a table from ubc business, it is a pretty accurate table which converts gpa to %. The last digit in you gpa corresponds to the first decimal place of the % value. Example 3.67 gpa = 79.7%. Somewhere on this forum someone came up with a formula that takes the overall % and the last 60 % values and calculates the AQ score. It is somewhat accurate (within 0.5 AQ points). tableconv.pdf
ibuprofen7
i go to ubc and they use percentage for grading. however, as sfuguy attached a pdf file, ubc also indicates the corresponding gpa scale to its percentage. UBC uses 4.33 scale not 4.0. I hope it helps.
