Yakobu
For those who've already written it before (or have a sufficient background to answer my question), I was wondering if you might know how the scores are calculated for the PAT. Say you were to receive 75/90 on that section of the DAT, what would that calculate into out of a possible 30? Is it directly calculated or is there another system to this? RedRevolution
Its based on percentiles. So you are graded based on how everyone else does. So make sure you do better than everyone else .
wishywish82
I used to think it was based on percentiles too until I scored in the 99th percentile for bio and chem and wasn't given a 30 in either section. I think there's some raw score conversion that goes on. Unlike the MCAT where if you're in 99th percentile you've given a 15 as a score.
