Are Canadians treated as Internationals?

In the AAMC MSAR book, only a handful of internationals are accepted...I was wondering if Canadians fall under that category?

ya man I think we're Intnl. At least, if you're not a US citizen or US permanent resident, then you prolly are by default Intn'l.

 

Thats why that list has been compiled-- to show which schools are friendly to accepting Canucks.

It is actually not that simple: some schools consider Canadians as Internationals, and others consider them as OOS. You have to contact each school, or look in their frequently asked questions sections to determine that. For example, VCU doesn't accept internatinal students, but they take Canadians as OOS.
