dr.mango
Hi, Do you guys think that if a referee gives the student a top 10% rather than top 5% selection (on the form) it would negatively affect them? In other words, is it essential for referees to give students "top 5%" in all categories, in order for it be a stellar recomendation? thanks - hope to hear from you all soon!!!! Doc2011
Absolutely not... one of the greatest challenges physicians have to face is to recognize their own weaknesses and biases... If you have all top 5%, they will wonder if you're guenuine or not. Recommend to your referee to be VERY honest... Cheers!
Talon01
Don't worry about it unless they check the bottom 5% box.
