juc25
Hi guys, I was finishing up my U of Ottawa application and I had a question. Me and my friend we are both applying this year and we got confused with the GPA cut-off. I am BC resident, did undergrad at UBC, and doing my masters degree (2nd year) right now. My undergrad wGPA is only 3.46 (without taking any coures out) and my grad GPA is 4.0. I am doing a research based program and don't have conferred degree yet so I can't even add in the courses I took into OMSAS. So would that automatically reject me from getting the interview, since I don't make that 3.5 undergrad cut-off? I've e-mailed admission office few weeks ago and I still haven't heard any reply back. Any comment will be appreciated!
Julie
I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think Ottawa uses the wGPA for those cutoffs too... in which case it would depend on whether you got better marks in your last yrs than in your first yrs...
