BrendanJ Posted November 15, 2007 Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 yeah, it's my understanding that the Faculty of Med/Dent has very little to do with Beartracks, which isn't updated until things trickle down to the U of A administration office. That may be COMPLETELY off, as I just sort of assumed that, but in any event beartracks lags so far behind watching your actual online app, that checking it is pretty well useless throughout the cycle . . . medordie Posted November 15, 2007 Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 Hey guys, I had the same problem with my transcripts not showing on my app. I called the Registrar to confirm the transcripts had been received and they had. KennethToronto Posted December 1, 2007 Report Share Posted December 1, 2007 Wow I had to manually check beartracks just now (I'm finding UofA using TWO seperate systems terrible) and find that they consider me "ineligible" for their MD program because I don't fulfill their organic chemistry requirement. Nice...they didn't even send me an email to tell me? And what a mistake they made...I spent my whole second year taking all organic/inorganic/physical chemistry courses.
