bugette Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 I have a friend who received an acceptance notification in April a few years back, and was required to pay a deposit to hold her spot. April is fairly early to decide since she still had two interviews at other schools after receiving the offer from UofS. She decided to pay the deposit anyways, but said the cheque wasn't cashed until AFTER May 15th. (out of curiosity since this is obviously not my situation and probably won't be): Was this deposit refundable - i.e. wouldn't have been cashed in - if the student had declined the spot BEFORE May 15th? Everyone gets it in mid May....so this situation wouldn't really exist~ But to answer ur ques....deposits are unlikely to be refundable (small price to pay for gurantee of a spot neways...theres always a line of credit) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
