St. Christopher's College of Medicine offers a four-year MD program, a six-year MD program and a five-year MD, PhD program. These programs are designed to meet the requirements of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). The MD program consists of five fifteen-week semesters in the basic sciences followed by six semesters in clinical clerkships. Students will complete their basic sciences in England and do all their clinical rotations in the US at ACGME hospitals. The MD, PhD program consists of nine fifteen-week semesters: five fifteen-week semesters in the basic sciences and four fifteen-week semesters in research. This is followed by six semesters of clinical clerkships in the US at ACGME hospitals. Admissions are available three times a year in January, May and September.

 

Students have the option to do their clinicals in the UK and are qualified for limited registration with the General Medical Council.

 

St. Christopher's College of Medicine has associations with King's College London and Ealing Hospital.

I've read that the chairman was an ER doctor? I did a search on the net was unable to find any state where he has ever practiced medicine (M.D. or D.O) in any specialty and the AMA has no record. Is St. Christopher's chairman an M.D.? If he is not, where did this rumor start? How can a medical college have a chairman that is not a physician?
