reverse_transcriptase Posted May 27, 2008 Report Share Posted May 27, 2008 hey guys I keep hearing from other ppl with NSERC USRA's about getting two weeks off during the 16 week contract...is this the same for everyone or what? ... just today i met a girl who said shes leaving for 3 weeks in july and her supervisior gave her 1 week off on the additional 2 week nserc time sorry if thats tough to understand lol later guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MedPen Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 Officially, there is no time off and everyone is supposed to work 16 weeks in a row. That is one of the NSERC conditions. That having been said, most people like to "bend" the NSERC conditions and take a week or 2 off. It all depends on the supervisor. Mine follows the rules, so I don't get anytime off...
