Dermatologist shortage makes the news

duh.

 

I also don't know how much this contributes, but I know a few dermatologists who are relatively young decided to only accept referrals that are cosmetically related.

 

I would think that their refusal to see non-cosmetic cases would have a noticeable effect on the general public's ability to see a dermatologist, given how there are so few of them.

 

 

 

As an aside, I find it funny that the GP shortage is what makes all the news, when other specialties like derm, rads, and path are, or will be, facing huge shortages.
