cas1234
Is there a way to predict what raw scores are required for a particular letter mark for the Writing Sample? I have been practicing a lot, but I consistently keep getting 4's on my Writing Samples from my Kaplan teacher. Would anyone know what letter an 8 would translate to (generally speaking since every WS can be curved differently)? Thanks
medisforme
i believe it goes something like this for aamc (kaplan - there scale is different) 1 - J 1.5 K 2 - L 2.5 - M 3 - N 3.5 - O 4 - P 4.5 - Q 5 - R 5.5 - S 6 - T aamc grades the essays out of 6 and this is the ROUGH conversion

You write 2 essays so if your total is: 2: J 3: K 4: L 5: M 6: N 7: O P: 8 Q: 9 R: 10 S: 11 T:
